Bosteels is a Belgian brewery in the East Flanders municipality of Buggenhout . The brewery belongs to AB-InBev .

history

The Bosteels brewery was founded by Everarist Bosteels in 1791 and was in the seventh generation of the family until 2016; after the founding father Everarist, his descendants were followed by Joseph, Martin, Leon, Antoine, Ivo and Antoine Bosteels.

In 2011 the annual production was 90,000 hectoliters of beer, with a turnover of 17.2 million euros. At the beginning of September 2016, the brewery was taken over by AB-InBev. At that time the annual output was around 145,000 hl.
