The Funchal Botanical Garden ( Portuguese Jardim Botânico da Madeira-Engº Rui Vieira ) (named since 2011, previously Jardim Botânico do Funchal ) in Funchal on Madeira (Portugal) is a park with exotic plants.

The facility was built in 1960 on the former estate of the William Reid family. The over 35,000 m² sloping terrain of the park extends from the former mansion above to an adjoining bird park, in which exotic birds are on display in aviaries . In addition to paths under old trees, the botanical garden offers various themed areas such as a water garden and a cactus garden. In the middle there is a small restaurant with seating.

The Museu de História Natural ( Natural History Museum ) has been housed in the former manor house since 1982 and mainly exhibits specimens .

The park is located in the high district of Monte and can be reached from Funchal by cable car .
