Botho Mulert

Botho Mulert (born March 15, 1883 in Kanditten , East Prussia; † 1963 ) was a German chemist and ministerial official.

Career

Mulert came from a Prussian pastor's family. His father Alwin Theodor (1845–1901) was a pastor in Kanditten.

He received his doctorate in 1906 and then worked as a chemist. From 1908 to 1922 he worked at the Technical Inspection Center in the Reich Treasury . In 1922 he moved to the Reich Ministry of Economic Affairs , where he was appointed senior government councilor in 1925, ministerial councilor in 1930 and ministerial director in 1938.

After the end of the Second World War he worked from 1946 to 1948 for the economic administration office of the British Zone in Minden and the Economic Council of the Bizone in Frankfurt am Main.

He was chairman of the supervisory board of the Deutsche Zündwaren-Monopolgesellschaft in Frankfurt and a member of the supervisory board of Gödicke & Co. Chemische Fabrik AG in Berlin.
