The Bounty Bay is a bay in the Pacific at Pitcairn , the only inhabited island of the Pitcairn Islands .

The bay was named after the shipwreck of the Bounty , the famous ship of the mutiny on the Bounty , which can still be found there today . After being set aground, the Bounty was set alight on January 23, 1790, after which it sank in place.

In the bay is The Landing, the most important jetty on the island. An alternative jetty was completed in early 2017 in Tedside, on the other side of the island.
