Boyce and Hart
Boyce and Hart were the American songwriter duo Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart . As Boyce and Hart, they released their own recordings from 1967.
Career
Tommy Boyce had already had success as a musician and songwriter before working with Hart. The two wrote songs together from 1963 and had their first success with the single "Come a Little Bit Closer", which they wrote for Jay and the Americans . However, they experienced their most successful time as songwriters for the Monkees , for whom they wrote hits like "Last Train to Clarksville", "I'm Not Your Stepping Stone", "Valerie" and "(Theme From) The Monkees".
When the Monkees ended their collaboration, they began to publish their own songs in 1967 as the Duo Boyce & Hart . They also had a top twenty hit with “I Wonder What She's Doing Tonite”. At the end of the 1960s they separated, also as songwriters, but came back together in 1975 when they went on a tour with the ex-Monkees Davy Jones and Micky Dolenz under the name Dolenz, Jones, Boyce and Hart . After a flopped album, this cooperation was given up again.
In the late 1980s, when there was another Monkees "revival", Boyce and Hart performed together again. According to the Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock & Roll , Boyce and Hart have written more than 300 songs and sold more than 42 million records.

In the sixth season of the US television series "Bewitched", Boyce & Hart starred as guest actors in the episode "Serena Stops The Show".
In the third season of the US television series " Bechanting Jeannie " ( I Dream of Jeannie ) in 1967, Boyce and Hart played as a guest actor in the episode "Beat please" with.
