The Boynik Point (English; Bulgarian нос Бойник nos Bojnik ) is a rounded and rocky headland at the northeastern end of Desolation Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3.2 km east-southeast of Cape Danger , 9 km west of Williams Point , 7.6 km northwest of Kotis Point , 12.15 km northeast of Siddins Point on the southeast side of the entrance to Kozma Cove .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2005, 2009 and 2017. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2017 after the village of Bojnik in southern Bulgaria .
