Bozen-Bolzano University Press

Bozen-Bolzano University Press is a university publisher founded in 2005. It was based on existing university publishers in Germany and Italy such as B. the Hamburg University Press, the Göttingen University Press or the Firenze University Press.

The publishing house was initially part of the Academic Services of the Free University of Bozen (FUB). In November 2007 the university publishing house was transferred to the library . Publishing house production began in 2005 with the “University Speeches” series, in which seven volumes had appeared by 2008. The aim of the university publishing house is to promote scientific communication, teaching and lifelong learning by providing publisher-specific services for lecturers and researchers at the FUB. The publisher publishes multilingual work results from science, research and teaching at the Free University of Bozen.

Further series titles are “Conference Contributions-Atti-Proceedings” and “Language Teaching Resources”. The number of publications has almost doubled since the end of 2007. The publishing program currently includes more than 30 publications from all scientific areas of the Free University of Bolzano.
