Farsø is a Danish town with 3366 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in western Himmerland . The village has been part of the Vesthimmerlands Municipality in the Nordjylland region since the 2007 municipal reform . Before that it was the main town of the Farsø municipality in the North Jutland department .
Farsø is about 12 km northeast of Hvalpsund , 13 km west of Aars , 25 km south of Løgstør and about 35 km northwest of Hobro .
