Vilsted is a Danish town with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in Himmerland . The village is located in the parish of the same name ( Vilsted Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to the Harde Slet Herred in what was then Aalborg . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the Løgstør Kommune in what was then the North Jutland Office , the municipality in turn became part of the Vesthimmerlands Kommune in the Nordjylland region with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
Vilsted is about three kilometers east of Ranum and about six kilometers south of Løgstør .
