Simested is a Danish town with 232 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in western Himmerland . The village has been part of the Vesthimmerlands Municipality in the Nordjylland region since the 2007 municipal reform . Before that she was part of the Aalestrup municipality in the North Jutland department .
Simested is about three kilometers east of Aalestrup and about five kilometers east of Nørager .
