Vester Hornum is a Danish town with 550 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in Himmerland . The village is located in the parish of the same name ( Vester Hornum Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to Harde Års Herred in what was then Aalborg . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the Farsø Kommune in what was then the North Jutland Office , and the municipality in turn became part of the Vesthimmerlands Kommune in the Nordjylland region with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

Vester Hornum is about seven kilometers north of Farsø and about nine kilometers northwest of Aars .
