The bridge Jülich road is a road bridge in Dusseldorf , the Jülich road over the railway tracks and the place of the former freight depot scale Toulouse avenue leads and connects with the Grunerstraße.

The bridge was opened in 1963. It has four lanes and two wide walkways. Today the middle of the bridge is connected by two connecting ramps with the Toulouser Allee that runs below it. It is 162.30 m long in total, its main field has a span of 98.7 m and the two side fields of 31.8 m each.

One of the two central pylons

The cable-stayed bridge has a 26.4 m wide bridge deck made of an orthotropic plate and a steel box girder with wide cantilevers. Instead of conventional pylons , it has two vertical steel posts on the center line of the bridge, which are rigidly connected to the bridge deck, protrude 16.5 m above it and at the top carry a cable saddle for the stay cables. The bridge deck, suspended from a total of only two ropes running over these posts, was built on the road during construction and pushed in in sections.
