location
It leads over the Mühlgraben and connects Schulstrasse, west of Quedlinburg's old town, with Stobenstrasse, east of Quedlinburg's Neustadt. The bridge is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The location of the bridge has long been occupied for a bridge between Quedlinburg's old and new towns. A bridge has existed here at least since the mill moat was incorporated into the old town.
The current bridge was built in the first half of the 19th century. It is made of natural stone and spans the stream with a single flat arch with a considerable span . The railing of the bridge is made of wrought iron in the classicism style .
