Brampton is a small village and civil parish in Norfolk , England on the River Bure , west of Aylsham .

The Brampton Railway Station is a holding station of the Bure Valley Railway .

The church of the village called St Peter is one of 124 existing round tower churches in Norfolk. The Norman tower has an octagonal top from the fifteenth century.

Brampton was a place where various Roman products were made and exported from there by boat on the River Bure. During excavations in the 1960s, a bathhouse was found along with many stoves.

The village badge shows the Roman past, in which a double-headed fish can be seen. This fish is also depicted on a Roman brooch that was found a few years ago and can now be seen in the museum in Norwich . museum. The name "Bramtuna" can also be read on the sign.
