The Brandenburg Education Server merged with the Berlin Education Server (BeBiS) to form the Berlin-Brandenburg Education Server .
The Brandenburg Education Server (BBS) saw itself as an information, communication and cooperation platform for users interested in education in the state of Brandenburg and beyond. The Brandenburg Education Server was officially launched on October 23, 2000. With the relaunch in August 2005, the Typo3 content management system was introduced. Content
A learning location atlas shows teachers and their students the path for their extracurricular activities and excursions . E-learning
The new area of e-learning offers advanced training courses, educational concepts, projects, information on system components and links on the subject of virtual learning. An essential part of the new offer is an e-learning platform that can be used for online training courses and also by existing working groups in the state of Brandenburg. The LISUM uses this platform from the school year 2005/2006 for the implementation of virtual courses to new forms of learning such as self-directed and self-directed learning in the area of the country to support better Brandenburg.

With the "School Portraits of the State of Brandenburg" all general schools in the State of Brandenburg can be researched online. The school portraits provide selected statistical data and information prepared by schools themselves according to binding characteristics.
