Cottbus sand plate

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cottbus sand plate is a ground moraine plate with strong relief and a natural space unit of Brandenburg .

Since a small tip extends into the Saxon area in the area of the Lausitz border wall near Köbeln , it is also referred to as a Saxon natural area by the official natural map of Saxony .

Since the structure of the natural area is sometimes handled differently by the relevant scientific institutions in the individual federal states , the size of the Cottbus sand plate is not necessarily comparable with the purely Saxon natural areas.
