Brandenburg Oderverein
The Brandenburg Oderverein was founded in 1919 on the initiative of Paul Trautmann , Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (Oder) .
Task
In the Oderbund, united with the Silesian Oderverein and the Pomeranian Inland Shipping Association, attempts were made to jointly assert German shipping and economic interests in the economic catchment area of the Oder to the International Oder Commission constituted by the Versailles Treaty (Part XII, Chapter 3, Art. 341) represented. The managing director of the Oderbund and the Brandenburg Oderverein was the Frankfurt city councilor Dr. Müller. The work was documented in the writings of the Brandenburg Oderverein .
In 1934, the Brandenburg Oderverein and other regional organizations became the Association for the Preservation of Oderschiffahrts-Interest e. V., Wroclaw .
