Brandhölzle is a farm belonging to Möckmühl in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg , which also gave its name to a new building area.

location

Brandhölzle is located about one kilometer southeast of Möckmühl on Lampoldshaeuser Strasse (K 2132).

history

In 1789 the Möckmühler town clerk Schoder acquired a larger contiguous area southeast of the town from various possessions, which at that time was completely overgrown with bushes. In 1795 Christian Friedle acquired the site, made it arable and in 1796 built a farm there. The farm was soon split into two parts, both of which changed hands frequently. It was not until 1865 that they came back into the same hands when Georg Günther bought them. A forest restaurant was later set up in the courtyard. A new building area north of the courtyard that was built in 2003 also bears the name of the courtyard today.
