Fire protection symbol of the state of Saxony-Anhalt
The fire protection badge of the state of Saxony-Anhalt was awarded in recognition and appreciation of merits for fire protection in the state of Saxony-Anhalt. It was donated in 1993 and was replaced by the Fire Protection and Disaster Protection Decoration of Honor of the State of Saxony-Anhalt donated in July 2005 . The new badge of honor was donated so that members of other disaster control institutions can also be awarded for services to fire or disaster control.
The fire protection honor mark was awarded in three stages:
- Silver badge of honor on the ribbon
- Gold medal on ribbon
- Golden badge of honor as a plug-in cross
