The Brauerei Rosengarten AG is a Swiss beer brewery based in Einsiedeln . In addition to the famous Einsiedler beer , the family business also produces Maisgold beer , Schwyzer Bock beer , Einsiedler wheat beer , Alpine beer and spelled Einsiedler beer .
The roots of the brewery can be traced back to 1872 based on protocols and contracts. In 1905 the brewery was taken over by Franz Lindinger. After his death in 1927, the company passed to his heirs and was converted into a general partnership. By marrying Anna Marty, a granddaughter of Franz Lindinger, the company came into the possession of Alois Gmür. In 1953 he moved to Einsiedeln to practice his brewing trade. In 1956 the company was converted into a stock corporation under the name Brauerei Rosengarten AG .
