Brazádo

Brazádo was a Spanish measure of length in the Canary Islands . The measure corresponded to the fathom and meant "that can be grasped with both arms". Estado was about 20 centimeters smaller on the mainland.

  • 1 brazádo = 2 1/6 varas = 6 ½ pies = 1.82433 meters (1.83724 meters)

As a square measure Brazádo or Braza, the measure was also on the islands
