The Brehm Park is a park in the district part Simmering the 11th Viennese municipal district Simmering .

History and description

On the site of today's Brehmpark, a "public square" was created at the beginning of the 20th century opposite the school built in 1890. The 750 m² Beserlpark , located on Brehmstrasse, was named after the zoologist and writer Alfred Brehm . It has seating and a tree population of nine trees (as of 2019). The oldest tree is a Norway maple planted in 1964 ; the last tree was a field elm planted in 2000 .
