The Bremen Integration Party of Germany (short: BIP ; originally: Bremische Türk Party ) is a small German party founded in Bremen in 2010 . It is dominated by mainly Turkish immigrants and focuses on the point of integration .

In September 2011, chairman Levet Albayrak and his deputy Hüseyin Teker joined the CDU Bremen . The party has not appeared in public since then.

elections

The party entered the state election in Bremen in 2011 . Election posters and advertising, as well as articles on the website, could always be read in German and Turkish . The party achieved a result of 0.3% in the general election.

program

The party wants more immigrants to enter professions that require a good education, especially in police work.

Language skills are seen as the key to good integration. In this respect, the party wants to promote language courses more intensively, but also to expand other projects for immigrants. They want to start with the early childhood examinations. Even there, the doctors would have to make sure that the parents are able to teach their children the language.

criticism

There were critical reactions to the founding of the party from conservative and right-wing circles: Internet forums and letters to the editor warned of “Turkish takeover activities” and the BIP assumed that it wanted to “assert the interests of a foreign culture”.
