In Freiburg and Solothurn one Brenta was equivalent to 34, in Turin = 49, in Bergamo = 55, in Milan = 62 and in Rome = 154 Berlin quart (= 1.145 liters).
The dimensional chains were very different in the respective regions:
- In Italy
- Alessandria and Turin
- 1 Brenta = 6 Rubbi = 36 Pints = 72 Boccali = 144 Quartini ~ 56.1 liters
- Bergamo
- 1 brenta = 55 quart ~ 63.0 liters
- Milan
- 1 Brenta = 3 Stara = 6 Mine = 12 Quartari = 48 Pints = 96 Boccali ~ 71.0 liters
- Rome
- 1 brenta = 3 barili = 66 boccali = 264 foglietti ~ 176.3 liters
- Verona
- 1 brenta = 16 basses
- In Switzerland
- Bern
- Freiburg and Solothurn
- 1 Brenta = 5 supports = 25 measures ~ 38.9 liters
- Ticino
- 1 brenta = 33 pints = 66 cups (Boccali)
