Brian Keene

Brian Keene (born September 22, 1967 ) is an American writer who mainly writes in the field of horror literature .

The author, still relatively unknown in Germany, has already won the coveted Bram Stoker Award twice . In 2001 he received the award for the non-fictional work Jobs in Hell . 2003 for his debut novel The Rising , a post-apocalyptic zombie story.

The first book to be published in German is a collection of short stories entitled Angst vor dem Sturz (in the original Fear Of Gravity ). The German edition was published by Eloy Edictions in 2006.

The German first publication of The Rising and its sequel City of the Dead appeared in December 2006 as an anthology under the title Das Reich der Siqqusim - Resurrection & City of the Dead by Otherworld Verlag.
