description
The masonry viaduct is located on the eastern edge of Doune. Today it leads a driveway to a farm over the Ardoch Burn. The previous road of the A820 ( Dunblane –Doune) used to run over the bridge, which now crosses the Ardoch Burn a short distance upstream on a new bridge. The arch bridge spans the stream with a brick arch. Your masonry is made of quarry stone . The roadway describes a steep curve on the bridge.
