The Bridge of Ruim is a road bridge near the Scottish town of Alyth in the Council Area Perth and Kinross . In 1971 the bridge was included in the Scottish Monument List in the highest monument category A.
description
The masonry viaduct spans the Burn of Alyth , the lower reaches of which is called the Burn of Quiech at the site , around one kilometer east of its confluence with the Isla . The village of Alyth is about 2.5 kilometers to the west. The arch bridge was built in 1713 and is now unused and still in its original state. The Bridge of Ruim spans the small stream with a single round arch . Your masonry is made of quarry stone . The stone slab track is 1.8 meters wide and is not secured by parapets.
