Bridget Neval

Bridget Neval (born February 13, 1985 ) is an Australian / Canadian actress. Her best-known role is in the children's film series Total Genial, the role of the evil schoolgirl Elizabeth Hawke . In the series Neighbors she played the role of Lana Crawford in two years .

Career

Neval's mother is Australian and her father is Canadian. She was born in India and has a younger sister named Deirdre. After a few months they moved to Canada . She moved to Australia at the age of 13 . As a result, she has an accent that is a mixture of Australian and Canadian.

Acting career

Guinevere Jones

The role in Guinevere Jones was her first acting role. She was one of the leading actresses and played Reine Davidson , the antagonist of the protagonist Guinevere Jones and her friends. The series first aired in 2002 and had 26 episodes.

Totally genius

In Total Genial (2003-2005), a series produced in Australia , she played the teenage genius Elizabeth Hawke (lead role). On the series, Elizabeth Hawke and Toby Johnson become geniuses after a science experiment goes wrong. Elizabeth was previously an inconspicuous nerd, but uses her intelligence for evil purposes, making her the villain of the series. Only the genius Toby can stop them from harming innocent people. In the second season they team up. The series' first season won the AFI Award for Best Children's Television Drama in 2004 . The first season was produced in 2002-2003 and the second in 2004-2005.

Neighbors

Neval played Lana Crawford in Neighbors (2004-2005). She was the first lesbian character in the series. This found this very shocking to some viewers because Neighbors had been viewed as a conservative television series up to that point. The character's inclusion in the series created strong disagreements and increased reporting. In 2020 Neval returned to the series.

Damned By Dawn

In September 2006, Neval filmed the independent horror film Damned By Dawn (previously known as Eternal Dawn and The Banshee ), produced by The Amazing Krypto Brothers . The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray in America on November 9, 2010.

Chasing Pegasus

In the Melbourne Fringe Festival -Theaterstück Chasing Pegasus: A Play in Ten Chords by Sally McLean Neval plays the role of the sixteen-year-old Amelia . The play is about one night in the life of the ten members of the Serendipity Book Club . It was performed in Melbourne on October 3, 2006.

Crawlspace

Crawlspace is a 2012 Australian horror film written and produced by Justin Dix ( Damned by Dawn ). Neval resumed the role of banshee .
