Pen pal

Penpal is the personal, private and regular correspondence of mostly two people over a greater distance through the exchange of letters or - with the advent of the Internet - e-mail . In the case of e-mails the forms of the letters are friendly extended because several people can participate in the communication at the same time and on Internet forums easier penpals can be initiated in specific areas.

Pen pals in a school context

In school, pen pals are often initiated from an educational perspective.
