Bright ( spelling : BRIGHT ) was a four-piece Japanese girl group signed to Rhythm Zone , a sub-label of Avex Trax .

history

Initially called Bright still co Spellers ( Jap. 子スペラーズ ) and was founded in 2001 by members Nagi , Mi-Mi and Meg founded. These three girls were childhood friends and went to the same school. In 2003 the three girls decided on another member, so Nanaka joined the group and Ko Spellers became Bright .

On April 25, 2007 the band made their debut with Rhythm Republic , an independent label of Avex Group's . Their success increased and so they switched to the sub-label Rhythm Zone . Their first extended play, which was called Brightest Star , released the band on January 16, 2008. However, the EP was not very successful. That same year, Bright also gave their first radio show, which was Bright no Girls Party Night !! (BRIGHT Girls Party Night !!), was called.

Over time, they released various albums and singles and tried to secure a permanent place in the Japanese music industry.

On April 17, 2013, they announced on their official blog that they would split up after their One Man Live concerts in May 2013. The last day we shared as Bright was in Tokyo on May 12th . After the performance, they announced that they would like to go their own way as the group has lost popularity and has not received very much attention since their debut.
