Bright Automotive
Bright Automotive was a startup company of the Rocky Mountain Institute , which is a plug-in hybrid - Van developed (Idea) for series production. The company, which existed from 2008 to 2012, was based in Anderson , Indiana . Bright was founded by entrepreneurs providing solutions to tackle challenges related to air pollution , global warming and dwindling oil reserves. The vehicle with a target consumption of 100 mpg (2.35 l / 100 km) was never mass-produced. Although the US automobile manufacturer General Motors took a stake in the company, the company was dissolved in February 2012.
