Brigitte Brüning
Brigitte Brüning is a former German basketball player .
Life
Brüning played for SC Chemie Halle, with whom she reached the final of the European Cup in 1969 , but was defeated there by Riga. She has been appointed to the national team of the German Democratic Republic a total of 100 times . In 1966 she won the bronze medal at the European Championships in Romania , and a year later she was fourth in the World Cup with the GDR selection. She also took part in the European Championship tournaments in 1968 and 1972.
