Brigitte Herrmann

Brigitte Herrmann (born November 4, 1950 in Brilon ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

education and profession

After completing secondary school in 1968, Brigitte Herrmann attended the bookselling specialist class at the Dortmund commercial school. She completed her training from 1968 to January 1971 with a degree in bookseller in 1971. Then she practiced this profession. Since April 1973 she worked in the district library of the Märkisches Kreis. In July 1987 Herrmann became an exempt member of the staff council. Until May 1995 she acted as chair of the staff council. She has been a member of the ÖTV district board since 1991.

politics

Brigitte Herrmann was a member of the SPD until 1978. She has been a member of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party since 1989. Herrmann is the spokeswoman for the district and local board. She is also a state party council delegate.

Brigitte Herrmann was a member of the 12th and 13th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1995 to 2005, which she entered via the state list.
