Brigitte Ulmer

Brigitte Ulmer (* 1963 ) is a Swiss culture editor and author of art publications.

Ulmer received his doctorate in history at the University of Zurich in 1989 with a thesis on the contact between the English and the Mughals between 1583 and 1619 based on English travel reports . She published, among other things, art biographical works and dealt with photography in South Asia. Her best-known book is Manon's biography , published in 2008 , "a pioneer of European performance and photo art" ( English : Manon, a person: a Swiss pioneer of body and performance art , 2008).
