The house at Brinkstraße 32 is a listed building in the Bad Suderode district of the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located in the southern part of the center of Bad Suderode on the west side of Brinkstrasse. It is registered as a spa pension in the local monument register. Although the name of the monument is number 32, the description of the location emphasizes the corner situation at the road junction. House number 34 is located in this corner, which is also shown in the monument register together with the directly adjacent house number 32. It is possible that the monument protection extends to both parts of the building. The building belongs to the monument area Brinkstraße 13, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30, 32, 34, 36, 38; Rathausplatz 1, 3 .

Architecture and history

The building was built in the 19th century. When tourism began, it was converted into a guesthouse at the end of the 19th century. Wooden verandas were placed in front of the house. In the 1930s, the teacher and curator Friedrich Wilhelm Elchlepp worked in the house.

The building was renovated at the beginning of the 21st century.
