Brita Schmitz-Hübsch (born June 24, 1942 in Hamm (Westphalia) ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Schmitz-Hübsch graduated from the Freiherr-vom-Stein-Gymnasium in Bünde and studied economics at the University of Bonn . After taking her degree in economics, she worked as a research assistant at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation . She initially worked as a freelance sales representative and then as a housewife, after which she taught piano at the PH Flensburg. She belonged to the sales department of a software company and was a lecturer at the WAK Schleswig-Holstein.

Schmitz-Hübsch was a member of the CDU district board in Flensburg and was the district chairwoman there. She was a member of the state executive committee of the CDU and was a civic member of the culture committee of the city of Flensburg and from 1990 to 1992 a member of the CDU council group of the city of Flensburg. From 1992 to 2005 she sat in the state parliament of Schleswig-Holstein .
