Britt Dillmann

Britt Dillmann , née Tuna , (born April 4, 1963 ) is a German wheelchair basketball player .

Career

She played for the first team of RSV Lahn-Dill and became European champion in 1987 in Lorient (France) with the German national team . The following year, Dillmann won the silver medal with the German team at the Paralympics in Seoul, South Korea. In the early 1990s, she retired from sports.

In the summer of 2009 Dillmann started playing again and joined the second team of their old home club RSV Lahn-Dill. She made her comeback to the national team and was European champion in Nazareth (Israel) in 2011. At the Summer Paralympics 2012 in London , Dillmann won the gold medal with the German team.

In 2012, Federal President Joachim Gauck awarded Dillmann the Silver Laurel Leaf .
