Britta Müller (* 1971 in Eberswalde-Finow ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Brandenburg state parliament between 2014 and 2019 .

Life

Britta Müller completed an apprenticeship as an electrician for plant construction after attending school. From 2000 to 2005 she worked as a sports and education consultant for the district sports association Barnim and from 2005 to 2011 she was the managing director of the Bildungswerk für Sport und Gesundheit. In 2009 she began studying economics at the Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences , which she completed in 2013 with a degree as a sports economist . From 2014 to 2019 she studied at the University of Stuttgart and obtained a master's degree in gerontology (M.Sc.). Since 2020 she has been working independently in the health industry in consulting and teaching.

She joined the SPD in 2005. From 2009 to 2013 she was deputy chairwoman of the Wandlitz local association and from 2008 to 2010 a member of the subdistrict board. In the state election in Brandenburg in 2014 , she won a direct mandate in the state constituency of Barnim III . Since 2018 she has been the state chairman of the health working group in the SPD regional association (ASG).

Britta Müller is divorced and has two children.
