Bernd Brodbek (born August 4, 1944 ) is a former German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

In the years 1963/64 to 1965/66 he guarded the goal for Rot-Weiss Essen in the second-highest German division Regionalliga West at the time and came to a total of 19 missions.

1971/72 he was goalkeeper for VfL Klafeld-Geisweid 08 in the club's only regional league season. He came to Geisweid through finding a job at what was then the steelworks in South Westphalia .

After Klafeld's descent, he joined Sportfreunde Siegen before later ending his footballing career with the Siegerland district league club SV Fortuna Freudenberg .

Brodbek is still connected to football today and u. a. Member of the sports jurisdiction in the Football and Athletics Association of Westphalia . He has also been active as a goalkeeping coach in recent years.
