The Brodie Ponds are a group of meltwater pools in East Antarctica Victoria Land . They lie to the west and southwest of the base of Mount Kowalczyk in the Denton Hills on the surface of Blue Glacier .
A team led by New Zealand geologist Robert Hamish Findlay visited them between 1979 and 1980 as part of the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program . Namesake is Ken Brodie, another geologist of this team.
