Bronnie Ware

Bronnie Ware (born February 15, 1967 ) is an Australian book author and songwriter .

Career

Ware worked as a nurse in a hospital palliative care unit. She recorded her experiences from caring for terminally ill people in her blog Inspiration and Chai . The article published there, The Top Five Regrets of the Dying , was widely distributed and reached more than three million readers within a year.

In 2011 her non-fiction book Top Five Regrets of the Dying was published by Hay House . The book became a bestseller and has been translated into 27 languages. The German translation was published in March 2013 under the title 5 things that dying people regret most .
