The brother help e. V. Automobile and Traffic Safety Club (BAVC) is an automobile club based in Kassel .

The BAVC emerged from the pastor-driver association of 1926 and its approx. 36,000 members are mainly active in the areas of church , Caritas , diakonia and mission . It is aimed at “people on the move”, regardless of the means of transport used. Since 2001 the club has also been open to members who do not come from the church. According to its own statements, in contrast to other automobile clubs, the association sees itself less as a lobbyist for motorists, but instead focuses on helping others on the basis of the Christian image of man.

Breakdown assistance is arranged through a Roland Assistance call center and provided by the "Silver Angels" of the Assistance Partner organization .
