Brunhilde Müller

Brunhilde Müller (* 29. March 1942 in Quierschied as Brunhilde Grossmann ) is a German politician ( FDP / DPS ).

After primary school in Sulzbach / Saar , she attended the Saarbrücken girls' secondary school and trained as a pharmacy assistant from 1957 to 1959 . Her subsequent professional activity was interrupted from 1965 to 1974 by the upbringing of her two daughters. In 1978 she undertook further vocational training as an office clerk .

Müller has been a member of the FDP since 1974. From 1986 was deputy state chairman and local chairwoman of the FDP Sulzbach. In 1990 she was elected to the Saarland state parliament. From 1992 she was chairman of her parliamentary group there, which she had taken over from Norbert Wagner . In 1994 she resigned from parliament after the FDP failed in the state election due to a five percent hurdle. From 1979 to 1999, Müller was also a member of Sulzbach's city council.

Müller did volunteer work in various areas of parent representation , and she is also involved in the social association VdK . In 2017 she was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit.
