Bruno Koster
Bruno Koster (* 1959 ) is a non-party Swiss politician and was from 2000 to 2008 Landammann member of the Ethics Committee (executive) of the canton of Appenzell Inner Rhodes and Head of the Cantonal Department of Economic Affairs.
Bruno Koster studied engineering and spent a few years abroad after completing his studies. After his return to Appenzell , he founded an electronics company with his brother.
In 1995 he was elected to the Grand Council. In 1999 the Landsgemeinde elected him to the government as the successor to Federal Councilor Ruth Metzler-Arnold .
In February 2008 Koster announced his resignation from the office of Landammann and from politics in order to be able to concentrate fully on his company.
