Bruno Robeck

Bruno Robeck OCist (* 1969 in Berlin as Michael Robeck ) is a German religious priest and prior of the Cistercian monastery Langwaden .

Robeck attended the Catholic Liebfrauen School in Berlin. After graduating from high school in 1988, he entered the Cistercian monastery Langwaden, where he took his religious vows six years later . He studied theology at the Benedictine theological school in Einsiedeln Abbey and at the Philosophical-Theological University of Benediktbeuern . 1998 inaugurated the Cologne him Auxiliary Bishop Friedhelm Hofmann priest. When the Langwaden Priory became independent , he was appointed Prior of Langwaden Monastery in 2004. Nine years later the monastery became canonically independent, and therefore the monks were allowed to choose a prior themselves. With their election they confirmed Bruno Robeck as prior.

In 2018, he was also elected deputy chairman of the Conference of German Superiors of Orders .
