Bryan Ward-Perkins
Bryan Ward-Perkins is a British ancient historian .
The son of historian John Bryan Ward-Perkins , he was born and raised in Rome and has spoken Italian since childhood. He has a PhD in history, but also works as an archaeologist. He was a Fellow and Tutor in History at Trinity College , Oxford until 2019 .
His main research interests are late antiquity as well as urban and economic history.
