Buševec is a place in Croatia south of Velika Gorica . Buševec has about 1000 inhabitants, the population, which in the 20th century was predominantly rural, now consists mostly of commuters who work in the nearby state capital Zagreb or at the airport near Velika Gorica.
Buševec achieved local fame when it appeared on a map in the James Bond classic " Greetings from Moscow ", which was solely due to the special location along the route of the Simplon-Orient-Express and was in no relation to the importance of the village.
