Bubi (also Bhubhi, Eviia, Ibhubhi, Ibubi and Pove) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 5000 people in the province of Ogooué-Lolo in Gabon (1990 census).
It is common in the area between Mbigou and Ndjolé in the province of Ogooué-Lolo .
classification
Bubi is a northwest Bantu language and belongs to the tsogo group , which is classified as the Guthrie zone B30. Bubi is closely enough related to the Tsogo language that speakers of both languages can communicate to a limited extent.
