Karin Buchart

Karin Buchart (* 1963 ) is a former Austrian sports shooter and today's nutritionist .

Karin Buchart was a successful concentration athlete and won a World Cup in small-bore shooting in Munich in 1983. She held the Austrian record in air rifle shooting for several years and represented Austria at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. A year later she won bronze at the World Cup in Zundert .

Buchart studied nutritional sciences at the University of Vienna. From 1994 to 2004 she was in charge of the diet and teaching kitchen at the Sanitas Alpenklinik Inzell, a specialist clinic for allergy diseases. She founded the company "Essimpuls" and works independently . Buchart dealt with the vitamin intake in the second year of life, the energy and nutrient balances of the Austrian Olympic shooting team in Barcelona and with the vitamin intake of patients with pollen-associated food allergies.

Karin Buchart is married and has two daughters.
