The Bucher Glacier is a small glacier on the west coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows into the Bourgeois Fjord just north of Bottrill Head .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1958 after the Swiss glaciologist Edwin Bucher (* 1911), author of numerous publications on avalanche research .
